Introduction to the installation points and precautions of wafer butterfly valve
1. Before installation, be sure to clean the sealing surface of the valve and the dirt and impurities in the pipes. There should be no impurities.
2. When installing the valve, the inner opening of the flange on the pipe must be aligned with the "ear" hole of the wafer butterfly valve. The flange piece and the rubber sealing ring of the butterfly valve are tightly pressed and fit. No need to use sealing washers. .
3. Before fixing the valve, the butterfly plate must be tested on and off several times to ensure that there is no jamming of the butterfly plate during the switching process, and then the nut can be completely tightened and fixed.
Note: This test is very important for the jamming link of the wafer butterfly valve. If there is no test during installation, jamming after installation will cause the butterfly valve to be unable to fully open or close, causing a large amount of leakage. If the butterfly valve is equipped with an electric or pneumatic actuator, the actuator will twist the valve stem and deform it.
4. The order of welding the flange and installing the butterfly valve must not be messed up. You must not install the butterfly valve first and then weld the flange. This will burn the butterfly valve rubber sealing ring.
5. For wafer-type butterfly valves equipped with electric or pneumatic actuators, when replacing the lower part, it is necessary to assemble the closed position against the closed position and the open position against the open position. After the whole machine is adjusted and calibrated, install it on the pipeline.
